How do I Edit Crops Zones on Fields?
Overview:
Crop types are year specific designations used to indicate what crop(s) will be placed on the field. Assigning a crop type to the field assists with the planning process without deciding what product to place on the field.
Requirements:
- A Corteva Fields account must be created.
- A field must be created.
- A Crop placed on the field.
Process:
- From the Navigate to an Operation box, search for an operation and select it or select one of your three most recently visited operations.
- Verify the correct year is displayed under the Crop Year drop-down menu.
- Select anywhere in the gray or white rows to choose a field to edit.
- Select EDIT on the Crops card on the left.
- Select Select on Map
- Select a Tool from the Boundary Edit Tools.

- Used to select to move vertices on existing crop zone.

- The Draw Polygon Tool
- Used to manually draw a polygon that represents the crop zone.
- Used to manually draw a polygon that represents the crop zone.
- The Draw Circle Tool
- Creates a circle that represents the crop zone. Enter the coordinates and radius or manually draw.

- The Cut tool
- Cuts into the crop zone to omit areas of the field such as ponds or terraces. draw functions are the same as the Draw Polygon tool.
- The Remove Point tool
- Removes a node/vertex from the boundary by clicking on it.
- The Fill Remaining Space tool
- Used to fill the space remaining on the field boundary with the crop zone selected.
- The Select Tool
- Once you have drawn or selected your crop zone and have made the desired edits, Select Save.
- The new crop zone edits are now visible on the Single Operation view.
