How do I Add, Update, or Remove Planting Dates on Multiple Fields?
Overview:
Planting dates are able to added, edited, or removed in batch in Corteva Fields. Products placed with a planting date display in the Operation Grower Season Report, unlocking field-by-field corn growth stage predictions, GDUs and precipitation information.
Requirements:
- Farms and Field boundaries created.
- Products placed on fields.
Process:
- Select I Want To...

Select Edit Planting Dates

Select the field(s) containing the placed products you wish to update planting dates for.

Planting Dates can be added for one or multiple fields with the following methods:

Apply this data to all fields:

This box can be used to add, edit or remove a planting date from all products on the selected fields. If a date is entered in this box, it will add it to any products without a date and update the dates of any products that were assigned a date previously. If this box is left blank, or if the date is deleted/removed from this box, it will remove any planting dates from any selected products.

Planting Date for Individual Fields:

This box can be used to add, edit or remove a planting date for all products on a single field. If a date is entered in this box, it will add it to any products without a date and update the dates of any products that were assigned a date previously. If this box is left blank, or if the date is deleted/removed from this box, it will remove any planting dates from the products on this field.
NOTE: Assigning different planting dates for two or more products placed on the same field must be done in the single field view by clicking 'EDIT' on the Products card.

After a date is entered or removed from the date box, text will update under the Planting Date column. The color highlighting each product will be green if a planting date is to be added or edited and will be red if a date is to be removed.

Select Apply All

The Selected fields will now reflect the updated planting dates.
NOTES:
- Removing a planting date will not remove the product from the field.
- Products placed without a date are considered Planned. Planned products are used in reports like the Map-Based Planting Plan and are used for VRS.
- Products with a planting date entered are classified as Planted. This status is used to confirm the actual planting date. Planted products are given a higher priority when displaying products in Corteva Fields or Pioneer Seeds.
